Only written nominations will be considered.
The nominating statement(s) should give examples of how the candidate has served as a mentor to colleagues.
Any colleague, student, administrator, or friend may nominate the candidate; nominators need not be members of NJCEA.
Nominations must have a second; additional nominators are encouraged.
Self nominations will not be accepted.
The nominee must be in the field of English (literature, composition/rhetoric/ creative writing) and must be a member in good standing of the NJCEA
Final decisions on the award will be made by vote of the officers and trustees of NJCEA. The committee also reserves the right not to give the award if nominees are determined not to meet the criteria.
