Join us for a discussion about ways to use various forms of technology—from the traditional to the emerging—to engage students. Faculty speakers will share assignments and strategies. The roundtable will consider the following questions, among others:

• How can we engage students in understanding the added value of reading, writing, and thinking?
• How can a balance of low tech and high tech achieve our goals?
• How can we maintain rigor and standards in the face of emerging technologies
• How can low and high tech pedagogies help us address strategies for reading as well as writing?
• How can we develop a pedagogy that is proactive and not just reactive?
