The humanities classroom is changing; as educators face evolving student needs, technological shifts, and cultural transformations, the question becomes how do we reinvigorate our teaching and learning in ways that are inclusive, innovative, and impactful? This conference seeks to amplify new voices—fresh perspectives, creative pedagogies, and bold ideas that challenge traditional paradigms and reimagine the future of humanities education.
We invite proposals that explore, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Innovative teaching strategies for literature, writing, and related disciplines
- Integrating digital tools and technology in humanities classrooms
- Decolonizing and diversifying curricula
- Interdisciplinary approaches and collaborative learning models
- Student-centered and experiential learning practices
- Assessment and engagement in hybrid or online environments
- Humanities and social justice: activism, ethics, and equity in education
- Creative assignments and multimodal projects
- The role of AI and emerging technologies in humanities education
- Alternative assessment methods
Both single papers and fully formed panels may be submitted for consideration.
Submissions for single papers should include a 300-word abstract and brief bio.
